Bought a Taurus TCP Yesterday. Traded in my old safe queen revolver for it. $115 after all was said and done. I needed something more concealable for when I go to school (checked local and school rules and it's all good). I found that even having something IWB would be too obvious. The school I go to is in gun friendly VA but everybody in my class is from MD or D.C. where the gun laws are terrible and I don't want anyone to raise a stink. Not that it would matter but the less attention I bring on the better.

Okay so it was last week but here's my new Savage Model 93, .22WMR. Looking forward to sauteed bunny this fall. Just hoping my almost 4-year-old granddaughter believes my story that I'm only shooting the yummy but evil zombie bunnies.

Well I walked into the 911 store in Hollywood florida today thinking I was gonna get a g19 gen 4 and I saw the guy who did my ccw class and he was helpful enough to take me to the range(guess he worked there) and let me test fire his gen 3 g19. So after putting 15 rnds down range(for free)with the gen 3 I decided I would go with the gen 3 for less money. So now I'm a rightful owner of a gen 3 g19 and I couldn't be happier 

Ha, I took my class with Joe at Bass Pro too. He is a great guy.
Love the little range at 911. Can't beat shooting steel targets, it's just a bit of a drive for me.

Lolol Joe's a cool dude. I could have gotten the class for cheaper but I'm glad I went to bass pro. Yea It was my first time shooting at the 911 store and I gotta say it's nice for a lil range. Where are you located down here? I see all these other states having meet and greets. Do we have enough folks from the dade and broward area to get one going???

I'm in Dade, kind of near Miami International Airport. Usually go shooting at Ace's. I guess we could start a new thread and see about organizing something.

New S&W M&P Shield 9

I just bought one of the new M&P Shield 9 m/m's and this thing is sweet. Even though I'm a Glock guy thru and thru, this new Shield is very sweet. The single stack grip is super comfortable. The gun shoots very good groups at defensive distances. The recoil is very light. If Glock made a single stack like this in 9 or 40 they could corner the market.
