I'm looking to get a new Glock soon, but I need help making right choice. I need one I can carry everyday, cheap on ammo, and easy to find ammo when SHTF. I also do a lot jogging, hiking, and etc. So I need something easy carry in those area too.

Thanks guys.

I cc the 26. I wear it all day in a Galco King Tuk and hardly know its there. For the running thing, I haven't found anything ,holster wise, that works. I am a long distance runner and it would be nice if someone could make a hydration vest with cc options.

I'll vouch for the G26. I also carry a G19 but I notice it much more than the 26. It's like carrying nothing to me. It's also very concealable under a tucked in shirt as well. And judging from the ammo availability since Sandy Hook, I don't think there's going to be much of any caliber around when the SHTF. But 9mm is a great caliber IMO.

I carry a 19. But 26 is basically the same thing in a slightly smaller package. I'm a big ish dude 6'1" 205 so the extra size of the 19 isn't a problem for me, and I like the full 3 finger grip rather than the pinky falling off like on a sub.

It is thicker but I love my G30. I know others that carry the G30 as well.

I have a 26 that I carry every day in a Remora. I forget I have it. Kinda. I still know it's there. I also have a 21. I never intended this to be a cc gun. I got it mostly for home defense. I did get a Remora for it as well. Works great in the car.

About a week ago, I thought I would cc the 21 with the Remora at home just to see. It wasn't bad at all. I decided to cc at work. Business casual clothing. I did this at least 4 days. Shirt untucked. No problem. So.... I decided to push the limit to see what I could do if I needed a backup. I did not do this at work. I was, however, able to cc the 21 on my right hip and cc my 26 in SOB both with Remora holsters. No, i'm not a paid spokes person.

i drove my car. Went to the store. No problems. I had this setup for about 10 hours. I didn't feel like testing this configuration during sleep.

Interesting. I do not have a Glock yet but am putting one on my wish list. Looking for 9mil so wife can use it too when we go to the range together. I've fired the G17 and liked it. How many rounds does the G26 hold?
10+1 is standard, but it will work with any glock 9mm mag. I carry with the 10 and a 17-rounder for backup.

No glock is cheap on ammo with todays prices unless you get the 22lr upper lol. Since you didn't give a preferred caliber I'm going to say G26 as well, with the G30 close behind.

I started with a G30 but I changed to a G19 for a few reasons. Truthfully I was comfortable carrying the 30 and loved shooting it, however I felt I had a little better grip on the 19 ). However, the affordability of 9mm vs 45 was a factor.

I carried my G30 iwb and do the same with my 19. But I have purchased a raven concealment phantom holster that is owb and I prefer it 100x more! Tight fit and very concealable.

Any of the guns mentioned will work. I carry a 30 or a 36, depending on my mood. Honestly a lot of it depends on your size and personal preferences. I am over 6'4" and weigh about 250. Hiding guns really isn't much of an issue. I have never shot a 19 well but shoot a 26 just fine. I have no problem with a 23 either. Go figure. If you are only going to have one, a 23c, a 30, or a 36 would be my choice. The 30 or 36 are plenty small enough for me. Just a serious thought though, WTSHTF it is too late to worry about ammo. You have to already have it. I have a friend with a 23c with an extra ported 357 sig bbl. that way he says he can use either ammo in a pinch. I have been carrying every day for over 37 years. Rent or go shooting with friends and try the different models.
