This is mine and I wish it had FS.

 

Why do you wish it was the FS? Do you charge it from the front of the slide? Looks? Yours looked pretty good to me.

Thanks, I use the front of the slide. Fortunately, it has a dot so I use that.

 

It looks cool as well.

I'm able to "press check" without front serrations. My wife isn't. It isn't something I do a lot of but am capable. Is it something you'll need? Only question that needs answered on your part.

Many have 'issues'... and, when the pistol is wet, so do I.

Years ago, my sister suffered hand injuries that continue to limit her hand strength and dexterity, but she can perform a press check by using her thumb to pull the rear sight rearward as illustrated in the picture below.

I use the same technique when the pistol is wet.

The Gen 5 nDLC coating is much slicker then previous generations. My hands have been sweaty and bloodied before, which makes matters worse. I miss tennifer.
