glock 30s vs glock 36

Ok Somebody convince me why I should trade my G36 for a G30s.

Depends on what you want. If you want to increase your capacity from 6+1 to either 9+1 or 10+1 and enable the use the 13 round mag, it will cost a bit more width.

Here is a side by side comparison;

Since you already have the 36 and if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, get a 30SF and you can make your own 30S while keeping other conversion options available to you that a 30S will not be able to do.

The width to me is not all that different. Not when it comes to sacrificing 4 rds of 45 acp. I'd go with the 30 gen4. I've looked at both, and held both at the same time. No way I would accept a 6 Rd mag over a 10 Rd anyday.

I like my 36. It's thin and it's got 8 rounds in it. It'll do the job and doesn't feel like a brick in my hand. But I could learn to like the 30 too. I complement it with the 26.

Higher capacity, less felt recoil, less distance between trigger/back strap (overall more comfortable in the hand), accessory rail, and overall just... Badass! If you are even considering trading your Glock 36, then you probably should. Of course, I am biased being a proud Glock 30SF owner! I will NEVER part with this pistol. Ever.
