40 cal is pretty awesome I've shot them a good bit and my next buy will prob be in a 40 unless I opt for the s&w shield 9. It's a really great round because of adequate power and controlled expansion.

look up bvac ammo - factory reloads JHP, 50 rounds $14.75 and a box of 250 for $130 through "cheaper than dirt" Its what i shoot through my 23 at the range
