Was jus my wondering if anyone bore sights their handguns? It seems that it would take the human element out of the process and give a good starting point.
My Blue Label dealer does it for me before I leave the shop with each new handgun I purchase. Like you said, it's a starting point...and can save time and ammo.
Distance is about 50 feet...Speed Sights...no ammo. He just verifies the sights are somewhere near the laser dot at that distance.Optics or adjustable sights?
For what distance?
With Your range ammo, or preferred carry/hunting ammo?
I bore sight all of my handguns and rifles with a laser as a starting point.
The majority of handguns do across the board, but some need sight pusher tools to move them, and some have easy to adjust sights. Some small ultra-concealable guns like a Seecamp, or some derringers do not.Do all your handguns have adjustable sights?
