Yes! I’ve tried several 357 rounds. Got thru 15 rounds of full power Speer gold dot 158gr first time I shot it. Never made it past a full cylinder of any 357 since. I recently acquired some Buffalo Bore short barrel 357 but haven’t had the nerve to try it yet. This gun wore some pretty wood grips for a week or two until I once tried 357 with those on. Never again.

It’s my favorite J frame without a an external hammer. They are great for pocket carry!
