I seem to do well with about 3.5-4 on my competition 17. My carry 19 is stock factory though.

The reason I put on the Tyr trigger was because the factory trigger on the 33 would bother my finger and felt like my fingertip was buzzing for days after a range session. I thought the wider, flatter safety and trigger combo would alleviate the problem. It did not! Trigger feel was a bit crisper but no appreciable reduction in pull weight IMO.

Not my hand just the tip of my trigger finger. I thought it was the narrow safety and ridges on the factory trigger. Turns out it must be the (recoil force?) transfer into my finger at the trigger. I fire .357, .44 and 500 Magnums with no effect on my trigger finger.
I've had revolver's triggerguard hurt my middle finger knuckle.
Then again it could be the amount of rounds I fire during a range session. I'd say I shoot double or more rounds with an autoloader than a revolver.
