Hey GF friends. Pun fully intended - Apologies for my juvenile sense of humor.

I typically use Hoppes or Ballistol on all of my guns... mostly because that's what good ol' dad used when he taught me so many decades ago. Now that I shoot often & carry daily, I sometimes wonder if there is anything more effective. I thought a poll of the experts and comments regarding reasoning/rationale might help to make an educated choice.

I'm interested to know what material you use, brand and source.

CLP only on my Glocks. CLP and bore cleaner (every 1,000 rounds or so) on AR’s.

Slip 2000 EWL grease on the Glocks. Mobil One synthetic oil and grease on the ARs and Shotguns. Slip 2000 oil on the bolt action rifles.
