Naw you're fine,as there is no such thing as too many magazines or too much ammunitionWell, I did it again. Bought 3 (more) glock 33rd magazines. Thinking I need an intervention.
I bought a Leupold VX3I for my light weight hunting rifle. Just waiting on rings now. My local LGS ordered them for me also. View attachment 232345

Need an RMR and a magwell, soon to purchase these items.
My first P80 build would not run, it was a G17.Nice,very nice,Luv me some P 80's.
I learned much about the Glock platform as you say, with my first build and now I have 4 under my belt when and If Poly 80 releases a Gen 5 P 80 for the G 44 I'll add that to the line up, then all my Glock's will be P 80'sMy first P80 build would not run, it was a G17.
That first build taught me a lot about the Glock platform.
Maybe I am different, I like the challenge when there are issues.
Some have brought their Glocks to me and they have actually damaged the weapon.
Get upset when I tell them they need parts.
I won't lie here, I'll most likely never veer from the Glock platform.
Guess I'll never be a gunsmith.![]()
Interesting. I heard that Polymer 80 and other companies picked the Glock Gen3 design because all the patent protections expired. Gen5 being so new would prevent such a thing. Glock has a history of suing companies that infringe on their designs.I learned much about the Glock platform as you say, with my first build and now I have 4 under my belt when and If Poly 80 releases a Gen 5 P 80 for the G 44 I'll add that to the line up, then all my Glock's will be P 80's
I know it's going to be some time before it happen because as you say Glock will protect their pattens all the way thru the courts, vigorously but hey I can dream of the day.Interesting. Then there’s Sig with their 320 and in some of the interviews with Sig reps, they make it sound like they are almost like open source. Wanting there to be lots of aftermarket parts for their platform.
