I bought an inch pound torque driver today at Home Depot.
Bought a bunch of Magazine Extensions for my g26/27 mags.
I put those bad about on 7 magazines that needed them. It took a little while, but it will be well worth it!!!! Going to the range tomorrow to try them out.
Lone Wolf barrel arrived a day early!
My G21 is finally complete.
The Rockslide is great and so are the Lone Wolf RSA & Barrell.
Barrel is button rifled and can accept lead rounds too!
The downfall with this project is the Lone Wolf upper and lower parts kit.
Too many parts need fitting to function properly.
I could fire a round tomorrow but I know this gun will not run right.
Needs about 4 hours of love to include a trigger job.
Need full pics!
Got a notification from psa on their black friday preview sale, ordered a psa complete lower build kit with magpul moe stock and grip for $120 shipped. Im hoping to be able to get a lower as well as a 7.62x39 upper for my dad before his birthday in march
I really like the Rockslide uppers!!!! I have a g22 and 23. They look sharp!!!!!!!!!
Got the lower parts kit ordered, for the hell of it i called one of my lgs and they had one aero m4e1 lower in stock for 139.99. Ended up going and picking it up lol. Boy is that lower nice, set screw to adjust receiver play, set screw pin for the bolt catch, flared mag well, im half tempted to swap it out with my psa lower on my pistol lol. If i wasnt so ocd about the psa logo lower matching the psa logo sba3 brace id swap it. Now i gotta try to wait for a good deal on a 7.62x39 upper. Bad when you almost have birthday shopping done but still need to shop for christmas lol
Bear Creek Arsenal has a few in stock now.
They also have many 6.5 grendel uppers.
just snagged a 16” 7.62x39 side charging parkerized upper with 12” hand guard from bca, had a coupon for 10% off and dropped the price down to $300 plus free shipping
Can anyone recommend a good ar 7.62x39 mag?
I got the older model and it’s absolute junk. I have some of the new ones with metal lugs but haven’t tested them yet.
That’s the Magpul AK mags. I don’t think they make a 7.62x39 AR mag.
7.62x39 C Products Duramag has the best rep of all the AR specific mags out there.
When I was at the gun shop we couldn’t find a 100% 7.62x39 AR mag. ASC wasn’t the fix we thought it would be.
Didn’t know about the Duramag then.
I have no 7.62x39 at all, but my dad has a few sks rifles and loves them, figure it would be neat to build one with him chambered in a round he already has quite a bit of and that is still fairly reasonable.
im not missing anything right? I have a receiver, lower parts kit and 7.62x39 upper on the way. only thing needed is a ar mag that takes 7.62x39 correct?
Sounds like you’re set.
thanks for the tip, looks like they are the go to 7.62x39 ar mag. Ordered a c products 28 rd mag from rainer arms 19.99 free shipping
"Boy is that lower nice, set screw to adjust receiver play, set screw pin for the bolt catch, flared mag well,"
When you were shopping for a lower to build your pistol on, that's why I recommended the Aero as being that much better or should I say easier than darned near any other lower, not to mention feature rich.
BTW Aero has a brother/cousin company with AR and Glock products it's called Grey Ghost Precision. https://greyghostprecision.com/#
I have used their Glock parts and will not use any other than their Glock slide completion kit, all their strikers/FP.extractors are from billet stock.
Much like Glock used in their Gen 1 & 2's,before Glock went to investment cast and then more recently MiMed parts.
I found 1000 9mm projectiles and 100 308 win brass, star line, new. Private sale on the bullets, 6 cents a piece, good deal!
