Received my sight today for the Ruger 10/22. This is surely different than what I am used to for sure. 20200930_171955.jpg

Bought a mosin nagant because I've been on a roll buying old military surplus for some reason lol. Stamped during ww2 so that's pretty neat. 20200922_171340.jpeg 20200922_171443.jpeg

IMG_20201004_161755292.jpg IMG_20201004_162550645.jpg single point sling for my another other, and a couple crimson trace cwl 202 lights for my other and the other other...also some flipup backups for the new other. Fortunately had a couple red dots doing shelf duty as it's been an unexpectedly expensive day
fwiw, midway usa has real good prices on the crimson trace cwl 101 and 202 at the moment, $68 and $76.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the other other...spontaneous purchase. Paid off my house, I deserve it :D
The upper other is the new one. Aero Precision receivers, nickel boron bcg, stayed with a mil spec trigger.

got to shoot the sniper model some years back. It was a 12 gun day, 4 pistol, 8 scoped rifles. The mosin was last, I had a spotter, I look at the scope and and laugh. Laughs were on me, that little tube with the 3 non intersecting reticles was clear as a bell, and at shot number 2 (thanks to the spotter) I was driving a piece of railroad tie up a berm, not missing the rest of the clip. Handed it off to my buddy with the beta(at 300 yards, poi was about 6" from poa...using 50 year old ammo) and he nailed 5/5.
My neighbor put his Nagant in an archangel stock. Looks like a brake from a 50 cal on the end of it, and draws some double takes at the club. Another guy has one with a shortened barrel (sporterized?) and the flames are hilarious.

bolt action, fixed mag....I'm in a"2 sin" state, and not seeing any "sins" with this one....if so, it may go to "other" status. Bottom one looks like a Shockwave ;)

Never really thought of the legality. Anyone?

Since it probably started its life as a stocked rifle, it would likely need to be registered as an SBR unless the receiver was never made into a firearm before. At least in the USA. YMMV...

Kind of a stretch as to being “gun related” but I did just buy (eBay) a sweet vintage Ted Williams Sears hunting coat. Looks like something Paul Harrell would own
