I agree. I shoot the 26 as well as my 17 or 21. I actually shot a 16 hour training class where it out shot the rest of my Glocks with a 26.

It is a Gen4, as are all my other Glocks. I don't think it is the grip texture. I think it's just a poor fit for my hands. I will give it another try or two before I pull the plug on it.

We bought a G26 Gen 3 for my Father when he was 80 and he loved it. He couldn't walk but he could dot eyes with that thing.

I love my G26 Gen4. If I could only have one pistol I think this would be it. It conceals much nicer than the 19 or 23 IMO. The key to shooting this gun is mastering the two finger grip. I never put any extensions on my magazines, and just learned to shoot it this way. Once you do that you basically have a combat pistol shaved down to a very concealable package.

Have you tried the backstraps? I can shoot with any of them, but found the medium is the perfect fit for my hand. It jumps with no backstrap but is nice and snug with the medium - hope that helps.

I find that my hand is too big to comfortably shoot the G26, 27 or 33. I just kind of got used to shooting with my pinky hanging underneath the mag and the rest of my fingers being bunched up on the grip.

I'd give it another shot, and if you don't like it I'd unload it too. No use in having a firearm you don't enjoy.

Glockgal, have you thought about trying the glock 19 magazine with an X-grip or A&G extension?

Many woman have trouble with the thickness of the Glock grips. Try the Ruger SR9C. Very similar gun, smaller grip.
