Loading some 308 win today. 180 gr partitions with Varget and some with 4064. Savage arms contacted me yesterday to say they are sending me a new rifle. I bought an ultra lite with the proof research barrel on it about a year ago. It shot terrible groups with different factory ammo and reloaded ammo so I sent it back to them. Hopefully this new one will be better!

I am gearing up to start loading 10mm. I have acquired dies, shell holder, a little bit of brass, some 180 gr projectiles. I have a very limited supply of large pistol primers and my nephew picked me up a few pounds of long shot powder. As soon as deer season is over here I plan on putting some loads together.

Getting some 10mm brass ready to load. This will be my first time loading this caliber. Long shot powder, 180 plated flat points , federal primers and once fired brass (ppu). Will pour powder and seat bullets tomorrow after work and hopefully try them out over the weekend. Just looking to end up with a nice plinking load for some trigger time with my new Glock 20.

My manual shows a 8.4 max for a 180 gr. bullet with the COAL you listed. I'm using a jacketed 180 gr. bullet which is a bit harder than a plated bullet, think I would try 8.0 grs and see what the result is.

A most excellent combination!
Yes, I agree. This load shoots excellent out of my AR 10 and two different bolt rifles I own. My father used imr 4895 with his 308 forty years ago. I have tried to like varget, but 4895 seems to do better for me.

No reloading today. Heading to the range to try out some 75gr 5.56 that I loaded a month ago. Some 10mm, some .40 are in the bag as well.
How did the load testing go? Did you like the 75 grain bullets?

Nice! I am loading some 9mm , 124 gr x-treme round nose with hp38. Tomorrow I will hopefully get to make a range trip to try them out, along with some 10mm, 223 and 308 loads. What twist are you running with the 70 gr. Bullets AllenRay?

I just got done with a few rounds of 348 Winchester. I am looking for some loading components for it. Mainly brass and bullets. A guy just posted 3 boxes of the old silver tip ammo. He is wanting $100 a box. New production ammo that I have seen for that cartridge are $110 a box of 20. There seem to be a few companies still loading for it. It’s such a cool old gun to shoot and take hunting.

Looks like Starline is still making .348 Win brass. 348 Winchester Brass - Large Rifle - Brass Cases and these folks have a selection of .348 bullets in different weights. Bullet Selection | Hawk Bullets
Ride Safe. Dr.Tramp...........
I am planning on trying the hawk bullets out. Star line will only sell 250 pieces and above thought. I will have to keep looking fo some smaller quantities.

Thieving hides! I don't know whether Bertram brass still makes .348 or not
I will look into that Bloke, I used to shoot 338 ultra mag brass made by Bertram. It was good stuff.
