I just recently purchased a g30 for home protection and was looking into some different night sight companies. Any particular ones that stand out the most?

Welcome to the Glock Forum MadTaco !!

Trijicon
Ameriglo
Aro-Tek
Meprolight
TruGlo
I heard about tru glo (sp?) From a local friend, are they and good? I like the option of the different colors.
Thanks for the help, I'll research the rest of those companies.
No problem...let us know what you decide on !

I got Glock night sights installed in at the factory in Smyrna for $57. They do exactly what they are supposed to do (sit there and glow) and are accurate.
What brand of sights does Glock in Smyrna install at their factory...?!
I would think the Glock night sights.
Those look nice vwtech, im going up to my local gunstore on friday, ill get it done then. Ill post pics when its done.

Tru-Glo if you like Fiberoptic. I have that on my G30.
I have Meprolights on my 23 and 27. There is a plastic film that keeps the dirt out of the white rings.
I have a G36 with an XS Big Dot (Dot the I). I'm not a big fan of them.
These are TruGlo TFO sights on my '19'
The shot is a macro, not the best picture. The yellow rear sights are not so bright, I have no issue with green front & rear... I also like red front... You can configure as you wish.

I rambled on there - mine are obviously green front & rear.
I have OEM Glock Trijicon night sights on my G30. I really like them. The only problem is that whom ever put them on dinged the front sight a little. I guess you have to beat them on some way. It is still dead on accurate.
Glock sights are Meprolight, I believe.
Another wonderful set of sights are the trijicon HD night sights. The rear has a large U notch with tritium inserts, and the front post has a tritium insert with a HUGE photoluminescent painted ring. Not exactly the most precise sight out there, but definatly an awesome battle/defense sight because of the quick aquisition of the front sight. I know, I sound like a salesman, but I just got a set and im just itching to go shoot. haha
