I was wondering if there is any type of trigger adjustment that can be made on a G17 Gen 4 to pull the trigger slightly back? I am not looking to change the pull weight, just move the physical trigger back.

My wife has a shorter fingers and although she shoots well with her G17, I was looking to see if there was anything that could be done to make it more comfortable.

There might not be a way, but thought I'd ask from someone more experienced.

Thanks

I don't know of anything like that.
I don't think that would even be possible.
You might want to find a finger stretcher for her, just kidding there.

Thought about it but didn't like the idea. May have her adjust her grip.
Yea, McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and supper ain't to good.
Are you using either of the backstraps? If so, removing it may help. If not, possible grip reduction?

You can get an adjustable trigger shoe and transfer bar that will accomplish that and keep everything stock. I have one on my G23 and it makes a HUGE difference in the pre travel. Not sure who makes it cause I got this one from a forum member with some parts I bought. But if I ever find out the manufacturer I will have them in all of my G's.
Well I did a little searching and found that OC Triggers makes these adjustable triggers. The base unit is $40. It considerably reduces the pre travel. Here is the link to their site.
