This will only mean something to the Marines on here!

    35 years ago today I stepped on the Yellow Footprints! It was the Beginning of 7.5 yrs of Active and Reserve time in the Marine Corps and a Lifetime of Being a Marine! OOHRAH and SEMPER-FI My Brothers and Sisters!:D

    Well, I don't know.
    Many a young man has suffered that plight and grown to be a better man in any service with, or with the bananas! I believe all that have served experienced pretty much the same feeling of excitement and fear at that very moment the apron strings were cut.
    Thank you for your service too.

    Re:Only Marines. Ain't necessarily so Cowboy. We had the infamous yellow footprints at Ft. Knox, Ky.

    I agree with Cowboy as well. No one but the Marines truly understand the yellow footprints at San Diego and Parris Island. There may be other footprints but they aren't the same. Semper Fi Marines.
