I've heard speculation about a new generation of Glocks being released, but only in forums like this.
For me, I can only think of one main thing I'd like to see addressed, but I'm sure you guys can think of more.
For me, I think red dot optics are absolutely here to stay, and they ain't going anywhere. I'd like to see Glock ditch the cheap brittle mounting plates that come with the MOS line, and improve the mounting surface underneath the MOS cover plate.
I know that the threaded holes in the frame can only be so deep, and no deeper - because of critical components lurking directly beneath them. But how about increasing the diameter of the holes to accommodate #6 size screws instead of the current #4 size? That, by itself, would strengthen the connection between the slide and whatever plate people use.
That's about the extent of the changes I'd like to see Glock make, except maybe make their Glock Niight Sights standard instead of the traditional cheap plastic sights.
What do you guys think?
