Whats the thought out there on ammo getting scarce around election time again? I've already started to increase my supply just in case....

I think it's going to depend heavily on how things are looking, poll-wise, between Obama and (presumably) Romney. If the polls are close, then it will have a bigger impact than if there's a big Romney lead.

Personally, if all goes as planned, my current supply will have more than doubled by week's end.

Yep, rerun of last election. Supply will drop to nothing around september, prices will go up around october, and by november the news will be talking about how right wing nuts have gone on buys sprees of guns and ammo in fear of Obama being reelected and enacting new gun control.

At 'our' local Walmart, all 9mm ammo is gone within 24 hours of them stocking it. Just the 9mm... it's to a point I have to order online - cheaper than a gun dealer that's 30 minutes away. Must be planning for the zombie wars ahead.

What's the chance on new gun legislation if He is elected again?
