What have your Glock different from others? What customizations does it have?

Do you think it could be unique? why?

All variations welcome: rare models, limited editions, almost unknown components, customizations, .... the sky is the limit

Oh, and pics or never happened :D

My 1st Glock, is my G40 MOS 10mm. Longslide.
I enjoy modifying the occasional firearm for competition, and adult fun.

She has a Vortex Venom 3 moa red dot,
Black yikes controller, polished trigger( 2.75 lbs.)
and Im waiting on a 6.45" threaded kkm barrel and compensator.

Reliably consumes brass, I keep a bore snake handy when shooting and with occasional rips through the barrel its a machine on the range.

Pretty accurate at 25 yards now, around 2", but Im interested in seeing the purported gains. Either way, the comp and ability to toss lead, are still gains in my world.

So you are putting several rounds within a 2" group from 25 yards ? Wow, that's some good shooting ! Sure have not seen anyone on the internet that can do that. You should make a video !

Actually, I was doing 3 shot groups zeroing the dot from a rest. Pretty good for me actually. Only have a few years actively shooting pistols.

    Sarcasm noted

No sarcasm intended. I could not even do that with a rest at 25 yards. I think that is fantastic. I can't even see the bulls eye at 25 yards and I have to have binoculars to see where each round lands.

At 25 yards I wouldn’t even see the target

Yes, I shoot quite often at 15 yards and honestly I'm kind of aiming at the paper and not much of anything else. I'm going to have to go to the range next week and just try to see what a target looks like at 25 yards. I don't think I have ever even run one out that far just to see how it looks.

The only "non-standard" thing I have on my Glock 19 is Ameriglo sights which I like in daylight shooting just because the big orange dot on the front sight helps me focus on it. I'm not sure how much help they would really be in the dark, but at my age I rarely go out after the sun goes down anyway.

One thing I have toyed with doing is to polish the parts that make the trigger pull smoother and lighter. Not sure if that is something a rank amateur like me can do, or do I need to take that to a gunsmith ?

Polishing internal parts in a Glock is easy. There are a lot of useful videos in YouTube to get information.

Of course, just polishing without removing too much material (that’d be dangerous)

I polished the intervals of the G45 and no issues. Keeping all factory parts, without aftermarket components, etc should keep reliability unscathed.

For a lighter trigger pull, a minus connector would reduce it from 5.5 to 4.5, and with a 6 pounds competition trigger spring.... the trigger pull is going to be around 4. (YMMV)

If that’s ok in a carry gun ... idk

Yea, thanks I'll look at some videos. I didn't think about the lighter trigger maybe being an issue with a carry gun. Might have to think about that some.....or hey I have an idea....buy another gun for my EDC gun ! Now, that's a good excuse for buying a G26. Wonder if my wife is buying that ?

If you can’t shoot well now with whatever you have now at 15 yards I can guarantee getting a 26 and trying for 25 yards is absolutely not the answer .
