I'm I first time gun buyer, I just bought a glock 17- 3rd gen, I was also wanting to buy a tactical light/laser but was wondering which one is the best? I was thinking the GTL21, I was also wondering about some good tactical lights/laser with a green laser, any recommendations? Thanks guys

From my research and experience I would recommend you a Viridian C5L. It is a sub compact green laser/ LED light combo. It takes one battery. I don't buy ANYTHING without doing extensive review reading and hands on experience first. My original idea for a light/laser combo was the streamlight tlr2s. I like strobe. I'm a streamlight guy, I have a Stinger LED. It's just quite large for say a compact glock. Best suited for a full size.

Two downfalls to the C5L, price, and the battery compartment is not threaded with metal like the cap is. So the cap is metal and the threads are metal. But you thread it into plastic. If you cross thread it you can ruin it. Be careful and you've got a great product. Apparently the customer service is off the charts. So far as replacing the entire unit multiple times should you have problems or mess it up.

If I remember correctly it is 94 lumens on ON mode and 120 lumens in STROBE mode.
