Finally got a Tac light for my G19. No name or markings. A friend got it in a package deal with a Laser Lyte top mount laser for his G36 but didn't need the light.

Have you shot with it yet? If so, how's it holding up? Lumens and throw?

If its the same, mine is a EverBright 1000 lumens and will light up any area or room. I love it. Works just fine when shooting to.

Wow - 1,000 lumens, huh?! Wonder if the Sure Fire tail switch will work with?

Mine's only 35 lumens. NcStar weapon mounted light, $26 on CheaperThanDirt.com. My friend thought it was something better, so he wouldn't let me pay him for it. He's a good guy. The LaserLyte for his G36 was what he was after anyway. The Tac light suits my needs. I'll try to get it to the range this weekend and report back.

1,000 lumens is what China likes to over advertise. Those lumen ratings are not from a credible source and probably really only pushes out 100 - 200 lumens. I bought a ultrafire light from ebay, advertised at 1000 lumens but it's only about 200. Still brighter than I will possible need it to be. The light I have is more of a flood and not a throw. It uses the CREE XM-L T6 bulb. I wish I can take the bulb out and put it on my streamlight TLR-1s. It would make the light so much brighter!
