Looking through a catalog I have they have different sub letters for trigger and trigger bar configurations.

Is this for the trigger itself, mine vary from model to model. IE 17 has a smooth trigger & 19/23 has a ribbed one.

I ask because is it ok to swap a trigger/ bar assembly from a 19/23 to a 17 and vice versa or are they bars different?
Are they different from gen to gen besides the raised bump?

Thanks in advance.

Best as I can figure yes ! They are different ribbed vs smooth but they are interchangeable!

Yes they are interchangeable.I changed the target(ribbed) trigger bar in my Gen 4 G26 to a smooth face that comes in the Gen 4 G17.
