I'm planning to buy a new barrel for my G22. Any opinion if storm lake or lone wolf for the 9mm conversion barrel?

I havent tried the storm lake but i did get the LW 40-9 barrel for my g22. Im very pleased with the finish and accuracy. Plan on getting a conversion for my g27 as well.

Don't think you can go wrong with either one. I have one so far for my 31. Overall very pleased with lone Wolf dist. Fit and finish and functionality are great. Just my .02.

I never did a Conversion Barrel but I will tell you the Storm Lake 6" compensated barrel is Awesome!

I purchased a 6" compensated 10mm and a standard 10mm to 40 conversion barrel from LWD for my G20 and have been extremely please with both. Great quality and accuracy with both.

I will say storm lake simply because I sell them and would like to sell you one. (there is nothing wrong with lone wolf but I have to be honest with myself and suggest the products I sell, neither is better than the other).

When I was looking for a threaded barrel most of the people I talked to sadi lone wolf barrels had feed problems so I ordered up storm lake barrel and can say its very accurate and takes what ever I feed it. Just one thing expect to pat a lot more for a storm lake barrel.

Seeing as new conversion barrel will be 100% reliable without other modifications, I'd go with the cheaper one...

Just bought a storm lake 40 9 for my M&P compact but I've yet to try it.

I say neither go with KKM they are the best a little more pricey but u get a flawless barrel just shot mine afew hours ago and its the best. Hands down better quality. Then lone and storm
