Has anybody here ever used a Steel Core Gun Belt? I'm wondering how comfortable they are and how well they work.

Thanks,

I've worn many nylon core belts and they were stiff enough, don't know as I'd want a steel core belt but that's just me.

Never tried one, but wear good leather or woven mesh. Stiff.
Following for answers. I see them talked about and advertised a lot. They seem to have a following.

I really like the KORE Essential gun belts.

Kore Essentials is all I use nowadays. Best solution out there and the easiest to adjust. I have a black one and a brown one..All I need.

I have both Kore and Blade Tech (both leather) Ultimate Carry Belt

My Blade Tech came with a Nextbelt EDC buckle so I assume it’s a Nextbelt but I’ve never bought a Nextbelt to compare to.

The Blade Tech is a little stiffer than Kore which I prefer. But the Kore leather looks more like a higher end dress belt and I have to wear a suit everyday so it’s my go to. I wish it had a bit longer core but that’s a very minor complaint. If it ever wears out, I’ll definitely buy Kore again.

I’m sold on belts with a stiffer core, I don’t see ever going back to just leather.
