Read up on your states handgun laws. Then read it again. And then 10 more times. get that stuff in your head. Common sense mostly. And always be 200% safe.G17XJ_BS said:

Learn what you need to know after you take a persons' life and be willing to fully be held accountable for your action both criminally and civilly.
MOST PEOPLE even after facing a real death attempt, will hesitate before taking a life and that could cost you yours. What most people that get a CWP don't seem to understand is, that it doesn't have to do with the gun, it's the skill and knowing you will kill if provoked to that point that you feel your life is in danger. The gun just reaches across the pond, if you will and helps even the level of threat you might endure.
I forgot to add, you don't need to study before the license but you should never stop after getting it.
