If you're only using the Glock for target practice, then the stock sights should suffice. If you're also going to use the Glock for defense, I'd say the XS (big dot) sights b/e of the speed of acquisition. They're not the most "shoot 3 shots in a dime" accurate, but they'll get you on target.

As for ammo- that's personal preference. I practice with the cheapest stuff my range will allow so I can get more rounds down range. I'll also practice a few times with my "Carry" ammo.

Whatever sight you can see the best, would be the best, wouldn't they? I pick up the Truglo's the best, so I have those. Hiviz comes in a close second, so I have some of them on a couple of revolvers.

Several options to mount a red dot…

Lone wolf will mount one directly to the slide. If you send it in to them.

This is what I offer as a solution.

C-MORE STS DOVETAIL MOUNT GLOCK 9/40

And a red dot sight.

C-MORE STS RED DOT 3.5MOA BLK

$360
