If anyone cares I carry the 2 self defense knives on my left side, opposite of my pistol. Why 2 knives? They both serve a different purpose. So I have a slicer or a stabber depending on what I need, or what I can get to. The ZT0350 is my edc utility knife. So it’s fine on my right side.My knife edc hasn’t changed for a while now. Left pocket fox Karambit, Sob ( Scout Carry) is the Ka Bar TDI Hinderer Hellfire, & right pocket is the ZT0350ts.

I care! I find your skill set to be off the charts. I wish I had trained with you.If anyone cares I carry the 2 self defense knives on my left side, opposite of my pistol. Why 2 knives? No matter what I had access to, or what I have on me for what purpose, even today, I just about always had a stockman in my pocket. I have a trapper that I use sometimes around the garden, but the thing feels like unfolding a Samui Sword and carrying a roll of pennies.EDC knife, S&W Extreme Ops w/ glass breaker and seat belt cutter. Penknives that I alternate. The "Old Timer" was my Dad's last penknife. He passed away 14 years ago/

Do you need the penny roll to keep your ring, & pinky pushed out when you make a fist? Or is it just for extra weight when you punch? Or none of the above? No matter what I had access to, or what I have on me for what purpose, even today, I just about always had a stockman in my pocket. Treasure that little canoe.
Yes, it is the big one that was gifted. Good blades, and a nice handful. Might shop around and get a scabbard for it. That would make things more comfortable. The blades are a bit log for my preference.Do you need the penny roll to keep your ring, & pinky pushed out when you make a fist? Or is it just for extra weight when you punch? Or none of the above?
I reread your post, & your referring to your trapper?

I have my grandfather’s Old Timers. Great folding utility knives. I never met the man myself. He passed when my father was 14 years old. I plan on giving each of my boys one of them.EDC knife, S&W Extreme Ops w/ glass breaker and seat belt cutter. Penknives that I alternate. The "Old Timer" was my Dad's last penknife. Thank you. I've put it to some good use, including prying open some frozen van doors and so far so good.Love the knife!!
Is the grip shorter also? With karambits the size of the grip to your hand is important if you want to do the fancy spinning. This is from the company that I ordered a bunch of stuff in the past that went out of business and is under a new name now. The first time I’ve ordered from the new company.

FYI the 4045 is the smaller version. About 1/4” shorter blade.

I watched a knife center video on the shorter one. He said if you have big hands THEN* go with the bigger model. Not as cramped. Is the grip shorter also? With karambits the size of the grip to your hand is important if you want to do the fancy spinning.![]()
I really like that there is no way for the blade to close while the knife is in your hand!Oh yeah and if you have fat fingers he said go with the full size.
