Anyone have an idea on how to repair a small scratch on a metal part of my pistol? Is there a special paint I can buy? Is it a hard process to try this?

    Paint?! Oh, hell no!!

    Can you provide a picture...!?

Is the 1911 blued or stainless...?!

Is the scratch around the slide stop hole...?!

It is tiny it's blued metal on the slide stop safety u probably couldn't see it if I took a pic ... It probably happened from people at the store messing with it gettin it out of the package or something but I'm just real picky about ****

Birchwood Casey makes a small pen of bluing that could fill in this tiny but irritating mark.

    Could work in a pinch...
