I believe here in Arkansas you are suppose to be 21 to carry any handgun.
Road Trip!!!!
SO here is the deal…
I will be going on a road trip in July.
I am 18 years old, no carry permit.
I want to keep my Glock in my car during the trip.
I will be passing through the following states:
originating in AZ
NM
TX
OK
AR
KA
MO
I will be spending time in MO and KA
What are the laws pertaining to Vehicle storage and transport in these states?
What are the laws on OC in these states?

Im not 100% sure on that one, you have to be 21 for sure to legally purchase a handgun. On the way into work tomorrow I can stop by my local police station and ask. You live in Arizona? You are just passing through Arkansas?blackwolffcf said:In a vehicle?
Also we are not a OC state. I have an app called "legal heat" tells you in detail laws for each state. That may help some as well.

I can check, but I'm sure if you just had the weapon in a locked hard case and unloaded with ammo in separate location in the vehicle you'd be ok.
I know I would be ok in that scenario, but that renders my firearm utterly useless. My mom bought it for me as a gift. Perfectly legal in AZ at any age.

I am aware that in Arizona you can have a handgun at 18 but ALOT of states YOU MUST be 21. Not trying to dampen your fun just want to make sure your straight. Have fun on the road trip!!!
Keep you gun unloaded and locked in your trunk and you should have no problem. The only thing I ask is when you're getting near Oklahoma City you give us Okies on here a shout in the Oklahoma Glockers group forum.
