SO here is the deal…

I will be going on a road trip in July.
I am 18 years old, no carry permit.
I want to keep my Glock in my car during the trip.
I will be passing through the following states:
originating in AZ
NM
TX
OK
AR
KA
MO
I will be spending time in MO and KA
What are the laws pertaining to Vehicle storage and transport in these states?
What are the laws on OC in these states?

I know I would be ok in that scenario, but that renders my firearm utterly useless. My mom bought it for me as a gift. Perfectly legal in AZ at any age.
Ok just stopped in at the local PD and they say that you will be just fine as long as your weapon is in some type of case in the trunk or rear of vehicle (unloaded) with ammo at a separate location in the vehicle.

http://www.handgunlaw.us/ Check that sight out they usually keep it up to date.
According to the Website…
AZ i am fine
NM i am fine
TX i am fine
KA must be unloaded and kept separate from ammo
MO must be unloaded and kept separate from ammo
AR must be unloaded and kept separate from ammo
OK must be unloaded and kept separate from ammo

Anyone say different?

Make sure at your age you can be in position of a Firearm in those states and that that your not just reading you can transport.

I am aware that in Arizona you can have a handgun at 18 but ALOT of states YOU MUST be 21. Not trying to dampen your fun just want to make sure your straight. Have fun on the road trip!!!
