I just purchased a G19 MOS Gen 5. I would have preferred one of the slimmer models but glock only makes G19 fully ambidextrous.
I find the G19 grip a bit large for my hands and am looking into sending the frame off to have the grip reduced.
Looking for any advice or tips. recommendations welcome.

Not sure that is possible without compromising the integrity of the grip. Make sure you use a VERY reputable company,
It has to fit, so the dilemma is real.

can anyone recommend? I found Great Lakes Custom Works. BG Gun Works, ZEV Technologies, Bowie Tactical as well as others.
Never been in the market, so can't help. You may get heel to toe reduction, but nothing of consequence for side to side. A mag still has to fit.
The perils of being south handed. I'm a bit impressed that Glock made an ambidextrous offering. You hit the jackpot for that.
Good luck.

But that is not fully ambitious. Being a lefty I was looking for a full ambi gun
Glock 19 Gen 5 I thought was fully ambidextrous.

Gen5 pistols feature over 20 design modifications from their Gen4 predecessors, including the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, nDLC finish, ambidextrous slide stop lever, the removal of finger grooves and a flared mag-well.

I think he was saying the G43 isn't ambidextrous.

Zev does fantastic work. Keep in mind that by sending in the "grip" you are sending the part of the gun that the ATF considers to be the gun. You will likely have to have an FFL involved to handle the shipping and receiving. There is not a lot of meat to remove on a Glock grip. You can get some size reduction, but it won't be much.

I think as long as I can get the diameter of the grip reduced it will help.

which is why I went with the Glock 19 Gen 5. from all I could see on Glock's website the 19 was the only model that was fully ambi ( mag and slide releases. )

Honestly, OP, I’d have gone w/ a 43X and just not worried about the “ambi” aspect…. I’ve known plenty of lefties that have done that…or they just shoot R handed…

and while I’m not a lefty, I was suddenly cursed into being a lefty suddenly for a few months…

Having struggled with RH firearms for years settling was no longer an option. If I don’t enjoy the fun I end up not shooting it. However I found my unicorn. It was not a Glock but and H&K. So hubby got an early birthday present of my 2 day old Glock 19 complete with extended mag release, ghost trigger mod and green dot optic ( granted not a high end one) he could not be happier.
