A co-worker just days ago had a range incident. A round in his .45 cal Glock exploded. The weapon is ruined and he had some injuries. But safety glasses protected him from worse injuries. Something hit and scratched his glasses. Be safe.
If you can show us some pictures of the weapon and tell us a little more about what happened I'm sure it can help a lot of newer gun users not have the same issue!
He's back on duty with us already, and showed me the ruptured shell casing. It was an older supply of factory made ammo I don't have the name of today, though a company now out of business. I'll ask about any pics he can share. He injured both thumb areas, the bridge of his nose, and the slide pinched his hand. He was so numb, it was several seconds before realizing his hand was pinched within the gun.
