If you carry anyways in their business that do not allow guns inside, can you be arrested(if caught) Or will you be asked to leave?

Yea true
But is it against the law?
To go into places where it says no guns allowed yes, if its a private property thats up to the owner but if theres no sign that says no guns allowed then your ok.
Hmmm I wonder what kid I charges will it be if it's just private property...
Depends on the state that you are in. I only know Tennessee and Georgia, but in these two states, if a private business has a no weapons sign posted at its entrance and you carry anyway, they can only ask you to leave. If you refuse to leave, you can be charged with criminal trespassing. This rule only applies to areas you would normally be allowed to carry under state and local laws.

Cool, thanks!
I'll have to look into it some more
If they don't honor your rights..............I will not honor there business !!

I do the same. If they don't want my guns, they don't want me.

My understanding of TN law is that signs DO carry legal weight. If you carry in a posted place you can be charged.

Georgia is not this way. You can only be "trespassed" if the owner/agent asks you to leave and you do no comply.

And when possible, I FULLY agree with this statement.

Nope, all they can do is charge you with criminal trespass if you refuse to leave as long as the location is not prohibited by state law. The only legal weight comes from their public meeting law, if the owner/ presiding party post no weapons sign and it is considered a public meeting, then it holds a unlawful carrying charge, but as far as retail, restaurant, and places like that there is not.
good to know...

I'm originally from TN.. but never owned guns there. I do go back regularly to visit family.

Thanks for the info.
Doesn't really apply, since the only place I can't carry is a Federal courthouse... Good luck!!

You can add Florida to that list. The only places that you can't carry legally, are gov't buildings or other posted gov't property.
Here in Utah, the no-weapon signs on restaurants, theaters, stores, etc, have no legal weight and all they can do is ask you to leave. Of course, if you refuse, you can be charged with trespassing, but that's all.
Trespassing is bad enough... Here in MI, the same thing goes... But we have many places that you can't carry to begin with...

My thoughts exactly! Remember what happened in Luby's Resturant in Kileen, Texas? I never forget.

Been 20 years since that happened. History fades, some people forget. Some people want to...some people make themselves. But I'll never forget that those people died like sheep to the slaughter.

And the one person, who could have changed that brutal outcome, left her gun out in her car.

I thought bars were off-limits in Florida?
The problem is, the Pollyanna's of this world are very seldom the people evil comes to visit.

Bad things, even disgusting, evil things happen to good people. You can wish it otherwise, but reality is what it is. And it happens all over the world. But at least in our country, our Founding Fathers gave us, above all other nations, the Second Amendment.

If you're a gun-hater just sitting here "monitoring" the so-called "guns nuts" here, fine! Your right to do that is also guaranteed. All I can say is, if you don't like guns, even hate them...then don't buy one.
