Used police trade in Gen 3 Glock 22's for sale local gun dealer $329.00 over 100 in stock I'll have a selection what should I look for and is this a good purchase?
Good deal!!!!!
Check everything for rust, check the springs, do a function test with a dry fire, check the slide for dents... I bought my G22 as a police trade in and it came with night sights, new mags, new springs, and a new barrel. I'd buy them all day long if I had the money!

If they let you field strip it check the internals, IMO, who cares about holster wear, I'd rather have one that looks worn and beat to hell on the outside, but has little to no signs of wear on the inside.

As suggested do a dry fire test, preferably with a pencil in the barrel pointed up, make sure it jumps.

Also do a recoil spring test, heres a good video showing a recoil spring that is about to go bad. The guy is nuts, IMO, about frequency of changing the recoil spring, but the first 30 seconds or so does show the recoil spring test.

I had my brother who is more knowledgeable them me with guns and he also checked it over, said it was a good deal. I got mine for 329-349 I think with only one magazine. Love my gun.

Yea, there in ok condition I picked up one and they are about 80-85% condition. Ran a clip and a half through it fine in rapid fire and it went fine. The main issue was what appeared to be pavement rash on the top right back of the slide which looked it was pushed into the ground. Overall I'm happy.

Picked up my 22g3 trade in for 319, with 3 15rd mags and night sights. I checked the springs and all internals for rust. Had a little holster wear but nothing bad. The Barrel barely had the smilys on it. Got it home and did all the upgrades with the 3.5 connector and comp. springs and steel guid rod and spring and she has been my baby ever since. By far the best 300$ I ever spent
