With it becoming closer and closer to the proposed deadline sometime in august what do you think the outcome will be? Im hoping with the recent new york ruling that we are on track for the brace worksheet to be dismissed but who knows. What are your guys thoughts or predictions?

If they have knowledge of someone flouting the law, by YouTube videos, social media posts or narced on, they can and probably will take you in for questioning, get a search warrant and at the least have you surrender your firearms and possibly go for a NFA violation with a 12 year federal prison sentence and/or $250,000 fine.

This brace issue needs to be addressed prior to average citizens losing everything!😡😡😡😡

i guess since the braces are plastic we cant lose them in a boating incident

The ATF’s new rule on pistol-stabilizing braces is set to take effect in about a week, and despite ATF Director Steve Dettelbach’s testimony to Congress to the contrary, the agency’s latest guidance does not allow for owners of the braces to simply remove them from any pistol to be in compliance. They want to regulate braces because they have been used in a few recent mass instances but ignore the fact that the braces werent used properly and werent used as intended anyway. So lets make the piece of plastic that was misused and used in a crime illegal.
