I have a G17,G20,G21,G22,G29,and G30. I am looking to get a smaller Glock to Conceal Carry, I'm Thinking of a G27 or G36. I am more worried about how many rounds they hold. The G27 holds 9+1 and the G36 holds 6 +1. Has anyone been in this predicament between the two? What do you guys have as a CC?

My primary cc is a 19. It is perfect for me. There are a few occasions I use a smaller one, but the 19 is the perfect compromise between the full size and the smaller subcompact. It is 15+1 so no problems in too few rounds. Conceals well and is fun to take to the range.

I currently use a Glock 22 for CC, but I would really like to get my hands on a Glock 27

Is it hard to conceal the G19 or g23?
I think it depends on your size and body type. I'm 5'9" 160 lbs and found my old G19 a bit much for CC and therefore made the switch to my current G26. The difference in terms of CC has been quite significant for me personally. I've noticed bigger people don't have nearly the difficulty concealing the G19 like I did.

My G30 works great for EDC/CCW but if you need something smaller I'd go with the G26. You'd have 10+1 rounds of 9x19mm +P, accurate, low recoil and as the ballistic tests showed, the 9x19mm+P works about as well as anything else. If you didn't want to go that route then the G36 would be my next choice, got to love that big, ol' 45acp round. JMHO, YMMV

My everyday carry piece is a g26 with a pierce grip extension that I load with hornady critical duties. I use a high noon mister softy holster. I had a glock 27 and the forty s&w round seemed to snappy to shoot in that small of a gun for me. My glock 26 is easy to shoot really well and easy to conceal.

I have a Glock 26 or Glock 33 as a CC. Love both of them!

IMHO the G36 is similar in size to the G30.
In that size range, I have a G30 and a G19. But when I need something smaller I go with one of my G26s.
The G27 and G26 are the same size. So I say go with either one, depending on your caliber preferences.

I've been thinking about the GAP finger rest.
It looks like a good investment.

Looks like you have the full size and sub-compact in a couple of the Glock models already. G20/29, G21/30 so you could pair up the G22 with the 27 or go G17 with the G26. IMHO the G26 would be easier to shoot, ammo would be cheaper and you get one more round in the mag. If it were me I'd sell the G22 and get a G26 with the funds since the G20/29 are both "40 caliber" also so the G22 is somewhat redundant since you can always use the Fed Lite load to duplicate the 40S&W loading. That would give you what I consider the best three ctg. that Glocks are made in, i.e. 9x19mm(G17/26), 10mm Auto(G20/29) and 45acp(G21/30). ;)

They really are and I converted from a pierce +1 extension and haven't event touched them in months since I installed the rest.

First is my 2XL paws on my 27 and it fits perfect and my ring finger really grabs it good.

Second is how it looks.

Thanks! I like the idea.
Do the GAP pinch your finger at all like the pierce extension? At least that is the complaint I hear for the pierce extensions.

That second picture, is with the magazine fully loaded? There is no space in between?
I like that!
