I will say as far as the striker drag on the p365’s. It’s not that uncommon in micro 9mm’s. I have a May 2018 P365. Sig updated the striker in 2020. 2018 to 2020 I ran a lightning strike Striker in mine. I have experienced failures to lock back on the last round. I pretty much fixed that issue on my own though. It has not happened in a while. I also run lakeline steel magazine followers in my p365 carry mags.

Dozens of lawsuits filed against Sig Sauer over the P320. There's a thread about this already.

"Sig Sauer P320, the Waymo of guns! It goes bang driverless without you having to touch the trigger!"
PR I had forgotten you'd started that tread, I recall reading it now. Maybe the threads can be merged.

My son has been carrying the 320 in the form of the legion model that the Australian army adopted! When they were first issued he had a lot of doubts! He had been using the HI Power for years and didn't want to change! Once he changed the grips he was happier! The SASR these firearms through hell and back ! He has one as his personal firearm now ! He doesn't deny that there were teething problems but is confident with the weapon now to carry it with a round in the chamber! In fact he preferred it to the old cooked and locked method of the Browning and the 1911!

I do not have time this morning to look for that thread, if you provide the link to it, I well combine them when I pass through here, again.

My badd, forgot where I was at. I Admin 3 other gun boards and was lost for a moment. I can not do any Mod work here, I only have member access, to the board. Maybe bring it to the attention of a MOD.

I have a P320 Carry with a flat trigger (stock) that is a joy to shoot. It does not have a manual trigger safety lever. I keep it in the house for protection with magazine loaded but no round in the chamber as I do not like any of my guns w/ round in the chamber as I had a younger brother commit suicide in 1970.

Forgotten Weapons commentary on the P320, an update.

Interesting for the info. As always you decide for yourself.

Interesting. Two years ago Ian made a first video about the P320, in which he concluded that given the design of the gun it could not discharge unless the trigger was pulled. In this video he adds a couple of nuances to that theory, notably quality control. If all the internal parts are according to spec the gun should not discharge without trigger pull. The question is whether all parts are in fact always in accordance with specs. Given the design and unlike the Glock if something is off the consequences can be disastrous.

DHS Memo Requires ICE Agents to Stop Carrying Certain Sig Sauer Service Weapons, Switch to Glock

A memo from Department of Homeland Security Deputy Director Madison D. Sheahan directs Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Authorized Officers to shift from certain Sig Sauer P320 handguns to Glock.

The memo, dated July 9, 2025, and obtained by Breitbart News, says ICE Authorized Officers “will no longer be authorized to carry all models of the SIG Sauer P320 pistols.”
The memo “also directs the Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs to purchase, as soon as practical, replacement duty handguns for currently affected ICE Authorized Officers, including those scheduled to be issued in the near term, and to provide a proposed plan within 10 calendar days to, among other items, supply an agency-issued Glock 19 MOS pistol and related equipment, to include a micro red dot sight, weapon mounted light, duty holster, and concealed carry holster, to all ICE Authorized Officers moving forward.”
A federal agent speaking on condition of anonymity to Breitbart News confirmed the authenticity of the memo.
