Ok, I've been looking into an ankle holster for my G27. I really like the Galco version with the sheepskin padding and then lo and behold I see it's twin in my NRA catalog for nearly half the price!

So the question is, have you tried the NRA Covert Comfort ankle holster? How does it compare to the Galco?

I have worn a 27 in an ankle rig. Not the ones mentioned but I didn't like it. That being said it may work for you. To pull it off I think it depends on your attire. Cargo pants would work. Maybe bell bottoms will come back into fashion.

Look online at the renegade ankle holster. I have tried three others that all felt ok but this one is the only one I can say is comfortable. It's made very nice and it's cheaper than galco.
