There are a lot of gun shops that will replace the sights for free when you buy them. My local one does. Might be worth looking into.
Night sights
My G26 has factory post sights. Thinking about getting night sights or Tru glo's. Do I need the sight removal tools or can I improvise from my tool box ?

For night work, tritium is definitely my choice. I like the new fiber optic 3 dot sights, but am still uncertain how much I'd want one on a handgun.
