Glock, trijicon, XS, Truglo TFO, Meprolight..... (And I'm sure there are others) All choices for my 43, and I don't know which way to go. Input and opinions are appreciated
All of my Glocks wear Meprolight Tru-Dots. Orange or yellow rear with green front. Sturdy, affordable, and set up with a good shelf for one-hand racking.
I have all the sights you mention and my current favorite is Truglo TFO's. Mainly for their day use as well as night. Really like having both. The others are great night sights just not that great during the day.
I have had all that you mentioned as well. My fav is the Truglo TFX. Doesn't have a true ledge but you can still get it done.
When I was considering a 43 these are two sets I had thought about. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y0GR8WI...TF8&colid=20BXUQQX1OGHL&coliid=I1SYAMQMVIKI3M http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XP546FW...TF8&colid=20BXUQQX1OGHL&coliid=I37PQWX922OU9A I'll also 3rd the Trijicon HD if they make them for the 43.
I Run TFO and like them alot. Bright day and night, they just work! BUT, I think it comes down to what fits your needs, these draw my eye and help with sight acquisition. Find what works with your eyes.
To me it depends on what you are used to seeing or want to get used to seeing. I prefer a 3 dot pattern 24/7 so I went with Trijicon Bright and Tough. My Wife decided she liked the HD's the most so that's what I installed on hers.
