I am new to glocks and been doing a lot of research on which glock is for me. I have been leaning toward the glock 21 .45acp. I've been to the range and shot a assortment of glocks and the 21 feels the best in my hand. I do plan on cc and I've heard the 21 is a by uncomfortable to some people and recommend the glock 30 just not a fan of the compacts. Basically iam asking for those who carry or carried the 21 is it that uncomfortable and what holster would you recommend? Also any other recommendations on a glock nothing smaller then a .40 thanks

Glock 30 is a subcompact, but it is actually the size of a compact. Check out the compact .40 and see how you like it.

I agree with jimmy, give the 23 a try, it is one of the most comfortable ones I've come across both for cc and range fun.

The 21 is quite pleasant to shoot, but definitely not an ideal carry pistol. Many people (myself included) consider the G19 to be THE universal pistol. If I could only have one gun, it would be a 19.

Have you try the Glock 27 or 26 ?? I carry the G 26 it fits nice in my hands and is very comfortable to ware all day. It great for CCW.

I haven't shot the 26 or 27 ill have to give them I shot I have held both of them and they do feel good in my hand so ill see next time I got to the range. The glock 30 is a .40 rite?

Worm asked for nothing below .40. Try not to confuse a newbie by recommending a gun he already knows he doesn't want: a 9mm.

With the 27 and 30 you can get mag extensions that make the grip more like a compact, and you can even use full sized magazines with a grip sleeve that wraps the exposed magazine and gives the feel of a full sized grip, all with the short barrel of the sub.

After those, there is the .357 Sig, which is a badass little round, and there is the .45 GAP which I won't speak to because I'm unfamiliar with it and don't want to negatively influence your decision.

I own a G30, with 10 round factory mags and pinky grip extensions: I have huge hands and it feels good to me. See my avatar photo.

That's for the info. That was the thing with the compacts and sub compacts i also have a big and my pinky finger hanging didnt feel rite to me. Do you CC your G30 and if so do you carry IWB or OWB holster.
