Got my 4th Gen.19 10 days ago... waiting on carry permit so I can go to range & get some time in. Good test of patience b/c I live in suburbs & have nowhere to shoot until I get a permit to go to the range.
In the meantime, educating myself, getting familiar with my Glock (first hand gun), and lurking around this forum!
Feels like I'm back in the military again (20 years ago...). Learning something new (NEVER shot a hand gun in Army or as child/young adult when i hunted). Taking the responsibility very seriously and very proud to live in a country where we have this right.
This is a nice forum & so far everyone here seems level-headed. Nice to 'be here.'
I live in central Indiana... former Pennsylvania resident & have also lived in Oregon & NY state.
I was in the Army & Army Reserves... 1987-1995, 54B NBC - Nuclear Biological Chemical Operations Specialist. MOS no longer exists 'on its own!' Was combined with something else, I hear.
Currently long-term unemployed & hoping to find work before much longer! Was hit by a car in 2008... Fortunate & grateful to be alive!
