I just bought a new gen 4 g19 and a used gen 3 g21. On the 21 when I take the slide off the recoil spring falls out. It doesn't do it on my 19 and when I took it in where I bought it they said it was fine. I havent fired the 21 yet because of this. Any help would be great.

There's very lil pressure on the spring. I have a gen4 g21 and i just barley pull on my spring and it comes right out. Even though gen 4s run a dual spring shouldnt matter. Inspect the frame and slide and if everything looks good shoot it.

If you think the spring is going to be a problem, spend a few bucks and get a new one...problem solved!

I think I'll take it out this weekend and see what happens
