Just bought a G45 and I’m currently on the hold/background check period. Looking forward to the forum.

I own a set of Peltors and Liberator 3’s that I use for work. I’m considering purchasing a set of Sordin Supreme Pro X for a more base/non-tactical headset to use off duty. Does anybody here use them?

Thanks. Happy to be here.

Highly recommend Tyrant. Makes the Glock magazine easy to break down for cleaning.

Threw some more rounds down range today. Trying to correct myself. I keep shooting left and slightly low. I’ll continue to work on it. All the rounds are tightly grouped but to the left.

Just ordered a Trijicon RMR 6.5 MOA and Night Fision sights for lower 1/3rds.

Found a local gunsmith who only install sights by tapping them in (learned from previous mistake) and does a lot of milling for optics.

Very Nice!

All you need now is a OpticGard Cover...or did you already get one? 🤠

Flex indeed! An even bigger Flex would be to keep your Trijicon looking as fresh and crisp as it does now in a couple of years....Come check us out and let us keep your Optics Covered.

I’m thinking about it.
I apologize if my previous message sounded like a sales pitch. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the importance of taking care of optics. As someone in the industry, I have witnessed many unfortunate incidents caused by negligence in maintenance or protection. Not many folks know that we exist so I try to get the word out as I can. 🤠

You are not bothering me at all. I’m not a victim of modern society sensitivity movement.

Keep doing what you do because it works. You got me thinking about how I would incorporate the use of the the Optic Guard. I know I wouldn’t carry with it on; I’m trying to figure out if I would use it any other time.

Edit: It appears that you don’t have one for the RMRCC.

Great Choice! Awesome addition.

Frame shipped to Americor for laser “hand stippling”.

I’m going for this exact look below with the gas pedal only on the left side for right handed shooter (never selling this pistol). Work in the picture was done by Americor.

She just Glimmers ever soo nicely!
I’ve already done the research but I want one last verification from my fellow forum members.

I can ship my slide to GlockStore as long as I remove the barrel (the serialized part).

Is it ok to use USPS?

What have you used for “parts”?

Edit: Received my SC CWP in the mail today.

Edit 2: Answered my own question above. I’ll over night with UPS.

Stippling complete from Americor. They have the best lines for laser stippling that I could find on the internet.

I added the gas pedal only on one side just for a little uniqueness/customization.

The “hand stippling” laser cut feels just like the grip of a XM17. Not too abrasive for appendix carry.

Well…..I wanted this G45 to remain as “stock looking”, functional, and very reliable (aside from my permanent stippling solution to the grip which is very functional and reliable).

But yet again I was faced with what type of finish I will be doing to the slide after milling.

After searching the internet for an extended period of time, I can’t find any reputable place that will just coat the milled portion and probably for a good reason. I see that bluing just the milled portion is an option but it’s not a very corrosive resistant option.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I will have Jager Werks mill the slide for the RMRCC and finish it with black nitride. I don’t want any crazy designs or colors. Hell, I would preferred to leave the factory coating but that won’t be an option after milling.

I am opting to have them do the “enhanced serrations”. They will just deepen the current serrations making them sharper and add 1 additional serration on the very rear of the slide.

Here goes another 10 weeks without my pistol. 🙃
