Just bought a G45 and I’m currently on the hold/background check period. Looking forward to the forum.

I own a set of Peltors and Liberator 3’s that I use for work. I’m considering purchasing a set of Sordin Supreme Pro X for a more base/non-tactical headset to use off duty. Does anybody here use them?

Thanks. Happy to be here.

I saw a review stating that it doesn’t actually have the same feel of your trigger because it’s not using the striker. I decided to try it to see how it would feel.

It’s nothing like the original pull and I don’t like it. That’s my take on it. It’s going back.
Introvert, I have one of these. You're correct about it not having the same pull as the trigger. I actually installed the heaviest spring to practice with. Once I was able to manage the heavier trigger pull without moving the sights, accurate shots with the stock trigger became much easier

New magazine with extensions.

I’ll probably get the stippling done next year and then call it quits.

I was concerned about the rigidness of these plastic ETS magazines. I had nothing to be worried about. These are very high quality and I like buying American when I can. My concern was the the top of the mag spreading over time under tension of the loaded rounds. That does not seem like it will be a thing at all.

Part of my initial assessment is they are better quality than the OEM magazines.

The base plates of the ETS mags are designed the exact same way as the OEM mags but are far easier to disassemble.

The Tyrant mag extensions are of high quality also.

Idaho would be the closest place on our short list.

Idaho, Utah, Montana….

All those states are gorgeous and I wouldn’t hesitate to look for employment in any of them.

Well, you were absolutely right. I’m now looking into milling my slide for a Trijicon RMR red dot.

What MOA should I get?

I’m familiar with the MOA of a CCO and EOTech on an M4 but have not used a red dot on a pistol.

I prefer a multi-reticle dot. At the range I like just a dot of 2 moa, but before leaving the range, I change it to a circle with a dot in the middle of 32 moa.

For pistol some people suggest bigger dot such as 6 Moa , but me personal like small dot like 2 moa, “Aim small hit small”

Threw some more rounds down range today. Trying to correct myself. I keep shooting left and slightly low. I’ll continue to work on it. All the rounds are tightly grouped but to the left.

-Break-

Just ordered a Trijicon RMR 6.5 MOA and Night Fision sights for lower 1/3rds.

Found a local gunsmith who only install sights by tapping them in (learned from previous mistake) and does a lot of milling for optics.
