    Welcome, evanj21!

Stick around, you'll like it here!

*PS* Sorry I'm no help on lasers, I don't put much faith in them. Your iron sights will outlast your laser....:D

FWIW, at the range during our FA classes, we always tell our students to shut off the laser or ignore it...develops better sight alignment skills. A flashlight (held in the hand, not a weapon-mounted light) we feel is better than a laser since it illuminates a larger area allowing you to view your target and what is beyond. And a good tac light will have a strobe option that is very effective in flashbulbing the area while confusing someone looking into the beam. Remember, the BG doesn't see the dot on him, he sees the line of light pointing straight at you. Besides, a laser or flashlight is likely to break (or run out of juice) long before your sights break off the slide! ;)

Welcome evan, I'm new here as well. My next Glock purchase is going to be the Glock 22. I currently have the 23 and 27 and love both of them. For me to compete better at the GSSF matches I recently purchased a 17 (Gen 4) and added some Truglo TFO sights. My goal is to make it to the first page of match results.

  9. My goal is just to make it on the match results: not many opportunities near me, and those within a few hours are far off into the calendar. ;)

I understand that completely. The furthest I've driven so far from here (Florida) was Knoxville, which was last year. Tomorrow's match in Orlando will only be my fourth so far and MAN is this stuff addicting. :D
