This is my first handgun. I chose the glock 19 for my every day carry weapon because of the ease of use and the reliability. They obviously have a great track record! This site has been helpful with my glock issues so far too. I have a gen 3 g19 from this year, I bought a month ago, and I have had many issues with stovepipes and getting hit with brass All The Time...

So since I take my hobbies seriously and do my research, I already knew how to field strip and detail strip my glock, and after a few weeks I was polishing my trigger parts. I just replaced my 336 ejector with a 30274 ejector from a gen 4 housing tonight, and I cant wait to get to the range this week sometime and test it out! So far all I have done with the gun is the 25 cent trigger job, stainless steel guide rod, and the 30274 ejector.

This is the only picture I have right now of the gun together from when I first got the gun

Detail Strip

I look forward to learning as much as I can here.

Welcome NateG19, I also shoot a gen 3 G19 and love it. The ont FTE I have ever had was caused by cheap ammo. I have switched to winchester WB, Blazer, and UMC and it has been over 800 round of flawless action.
Have you changed your ammo yet? Just my $.02!!!
Welcome! I'm also in Ohio! I've had some issues with brass in the face, but it seems that it's subsiding the more rounds I put through the gun. Furthermore, I've had ZERO issues with the steel cased or aluminum ammo, which is weird. I've got a G4 G19...all in all though, I wouldn't trade the gun for the world. Never had an issue with feeding or stove-piping.

Hope this finds you well, and welcome to this great forum!
Weolcome Nate! Enjoy the forum! I am originally from Columbus.

I come back every September maybe we could all do a Central location range day?
Welcome to the Glock Forum!
Stick around, you will like it here!
Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

So far, I've shot about 700 rounds through the gun, all Federal Champion 115gr. I had read that its a good range ammo, especially because you can get a box of 100 for 20 bucks at Walmart, if they have it in stock. I can say, that it seemed that my last 100 rounds with the 336 ejector I didnt get hit quite as much, but also had a FTE with my strong hand, so I'll just have to see if my new ejector gives me consistent ejection and no failures. The first FTE was after about 350 rounds btw. Just took/passed my pistol course yesterday, so I have to apply for my carry license this week
From one Buckeye to another, Welcome!:)

Welcome to the Forum! This is a great community. I hope you enjoy yourself here.
I need to start researching the glock competition shooting, thought it might be fun to take my carry weapon out every now and then and shoot in a competition with other glock owners. Anyone got any hints or tips, suggestions about it? Especially those in ohio, let me know :)
