    That's a pretty versatile setup.

    You rang? :p

So Ok, how did you get the white letters to stand out? Looks cool.

My kids old crayons. I clean it out with a tooth pick occasionally, and refill it.

No 40 barrel, the 10mm barrels handle it just fine so far.

I trust the 40sw barrel when it comes to SD and using 40sw ammo.

I see your point. But why oh why would I use the 40 for self defense when I can sling 200 grains at 1250 fps? LoL

Seriously, I carry it with the 10mm Critical Duty most of the time. That's 175 grains at 1070, so it's just a 40 that got in a hurry.

I carry the 40 when my arthritic hand is at its worst. I load it with Uw 40sw 155 XTP which is a potent round but from my G29 with the 21# RSA is like shooting a peashooter.

Congrats on the work around. Life would be better of course if didn't have to deal with that, but life happens and plenty of others would just shrug "oh well." Your other hand doesn't have the same issue?

My left hand is good but I never could train it to shoot. It feels foreign to me. I guess if I work at it I could do it.

You for sure can. Due to an eye injury years back I have to shoot rifle and shotgun lefty. Took some practice, but I'm doing pretty good.

Feels foreign to me as well. But, the first time I trained with my left hand, I was actually more accurate. Slower, but more accurate.

Both my Gen 3 20's are the larger non-SF grip. I find them to be the most comfortable pistols to shoot whether using a 180gr load at 1200fps or a lite .40 load 300fps slower. That wider and longer grip works really well for me even when I am having some wrist or finger issues from arthritis or whatever it is. I have figured that I could do the same thing and use .40 loads in my conversion barrel if my hands got a lot worse. Or, very light 10mm hand loads.

Light 10mm loads will work but they cost more than the 40sw. I have two boxes of the Hornady 10mm 175 FlexLock though.

+1 ... train with your non dominant hand

This need became immediately apparent after doing some 'force on force' training with airsoft handguns ... I had tons of hits to both hands ... that's what's pointed at you and as you / they move as shoot, it's what your eye just naturally goes to

Yes, quite a bit more expensive even if you can find the 50 rounds boxes. I can find 180gr 40 S&W HST for $14.99 per 50. I almost purchased a lot of 1000 when I first saw that price. I can't hand load for that cheap if using new brass and an equivalent bullet like Gold Dots.

I can shoot with my left hand in a pinch. Just that it feels foreign.

Anyway, I like what Ok did so I went to Walmart and got some paint pens. I found out the hard way the the mineral spirits does not clean up the over-paint. Alcohol did good. Whew!
