I bought a Glock a couple weeks ago used off a private gun trading website we have in Canada here.
It was a Glock 17 Gen 4.... I started doing research and apparently there are issues with the Gen 4's MiM extractor (not so much the spring)
So I sold it and got a Glock 17 Gen 3 rtf1 (made before Oct 2010,.... when glock went to MiM)
Does this happen to other people? When you look at a trading site every day for two weeks looking for the gun you want, then when you make a deal with the guy, a gun in better shape that has shot less rounds and is priced $50 less pops up immediately!!! Even though its been two weeks without seeing one!?!?
Happens to me every time!!! Just wondering if I'm the only person with a terrible karmic load or some such?
Anyway, I'm still happy to be rid of the Gen 4 and have my Gen 3
