some are but i am not a fan of polished, shiny slides on glocks. just spend $50 and send it back to glock and have it recoated if you're concerned with the wear and tear. i personally like my glocks even more once they start showing signs of wear.
All of my shooters are black. I like the stealth appearance. But, to each his own. Dare to be different!
I like to leave the front, back, and top black and only polish the sides. At night the stealth factor is not really affected that way.
I am with you on guns looking good with signs if wear. They're meant to be shot!!!! Wear gives them a bit of personality.
